Works inside Microsoft Teams

The IT help desk your staff will actually use.

People report problems where they already work: in Teams, by email or on a simple portal. VectorDesk sends each request to the right person in IT, keeps the clock on your service levels, and keeps everyone informed until it is fixed.

For organisations of any size that run on Microsoft 365. 30-day free trial.

VectorDesk ticket queues showing tickets by section, source, priority and SLA

Live in a day

Connect Microsoft 365, set up your IT sections and start taking requests the same afternoon.

Uses what you already have

Staff sign in with their Microsoft account. No new passwords, no app to install.

Pay for IT staff, not every employee

You pay per IT agent. Everyone else in the organisation uses VectorDesk for free.

Microsoft Teams

Reporting a problem is as easy as sending a message.

Staff chat with VectorDesk in Teams. They describe the problem in their own words and VectorDesk turns it into a ticket, with the category, summary and details filled in. When IT replies, the answer arrives in the same chat.

  • Raise, follow and reply to tickets without leaving Teams
  • Technicians get assignments with Reply, Take it and Resolve buttons
  • Rate the help or reopen with one tap when a ticket is resolved
  • Installed for everyone by your Microsoft 365 admin in minutes

How it works

Every request reaches the right person, and nothing is forgotten.

Routing

Sent to the right IT section automatically

When someone at your Manchester office reports that the printer jams, it goes straight to the technician who covers that site. Nobody has to read and forward it first.

  • Organise IT into sections such as Device Setup, Email & Microsoft 365 or Network
  • Rules by category, department, location, priority or keywords
  • Round-robin or least-busy assignment, skipping people on leave
  • VIP requests and critical incidents jump the queue

Service levels

Clear targets, and early warnings before they are missed

Every ticket shows who raised it, their department and location, how it was routed and how much time is left. Your team works the queue with the full picture in front of them.

  • Response and resolution targets for each priority, counted in business hours
  • The clock pauses while you wait for the requester
  • Warnings at 75% of the time, with alerts to team leads on a breach
  • Internal notes your staff never see

Reports

Know where the time goes

See which departments need the most help, which sections are stretched and how satisfied people are. The numbers you need for your monthly IT report are always up to date.

  • Raised vs resolved, response and resolution times
  • Where tickets come from: Teams, email, portal, phone or walk-in
  • Busiest days and hours, to plan shifts and leave
  • Performance by section, technician and department

Self-service portal

A help centre staff understand at a glance

For people who prefer the browser, the portal asks the right questions up front, so IT does not have to chase details like the asset tag or which office the person is in.

  • Plain categories with the right questions for each problem
  • Staff see every ticket they raised and what is happening
  • Replies by email and Teams, so nobody has to keep checking
  • Your organisation's name and branding

Security

Built for organisations that answer to auditors

Microsoft sign-in

Staff sign in with Microsoft. VectorDesk never sees or stores their passwords, and leavers lose access when their account is disabled.

Your data stays yours

Every organisation's data is kept separate. We never sell it or use it for anything other than running your service desk.

Audit log

Every sign-in, role change, settings change and export is recorded with who, when and from where. Export it for your auditors.

Least access in Microsoft 365

VectorDesk only asks for the permissions each feature needs, and your admin can restrict mail access to the helpdesk mailbox.

Daily backups and monitoring

Your data is backed up every day, and the service is checked every minute so problems are caught before you notice them.

Export any time

Download your tickets, people and audit trail as CSV whenever you want. No lock-in.

Questions we hear often

Who counts as an agent?+

Anyone who works on tickets: technicians, team leads and IT administrators. Everyone else in your organisation raises and follows tickets for free, so the price only changes when your IT team does.

Do we need to install anything?+

No. VectorDesk runs in the browser and inside Microsoft Teams. Your Microsoft 365 administrator approves it once, and your staff appear automatically with their departments, offices and managers.

We don't use Teams for everything. Will it still work?+

Yes. Staff can also email your helpdesk address, use the web portal, or call. Your IT team logs phone calls and walk-ins with one form, so every request is counted in the same reports.

How long does it take to get started?+

Most organisations are live within a day: connect Microsoft 365, add your IT sections, choose who handles what. We help you set it up as part of onboarding.

Where is our data, and who can see it?+

Each organisation's data is kept separate. VectorDesk never sees Microsoft passwords, and on the Enterprise plan every sign-in and change is recorded in an audit log you can export.

Which currencies do you invoice in?+

Prices are in US dollars. Where it suits your finance team we can also invoice in local currency, with the right tax details on every invoice, and accept bank transfer and local payment methods.
